Pricing FAQ
Are prices inclusive of GST?
No. All prices are in Indian Rupees and exclude 18% GST.
How is the monthly price worked out?
Each plan has a base price that covers a set number of employees. Each active employee above that is billed at the per-employee rate. For example, a 100-employee factory on the Factory plan pays ₹2,499 + 50 × ₹45 = ₹4,749 per month.
Is there a discount for annual billing?
Yes. Pay for 10 months and get 12 months of VelHR.
Is there a setup fee?
A one-time setup fee covers company setup, masters, salary structures and data import: ₹5,000 for up to 50 employees, ₹10,000 for 51–200 employees and ₹15,000 for more than 200 employees.
What does biometric integration cost?
Connecting an eSSL or ZKTeco device costs ₹2,000 per device. The first device is free on annual plans.
Can I install VelHR on my own server?
Yes. An on-premise licence is ₹60,000 for up to 100 employees or ₹1,20,000 for up to 500 employees, plus 18% of the licence fee per year for annual maintenance.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can move between plans as your headcount or needs change.
